Our Cabins

Castle Island offers 12 waterfront cabins, beautifully renovated.  Each cabin has a screened porch, private bath, and dorm sized refrigerator. Daily housekeeping services are provided along with linens and bath towels. The cabins are heated.  There is no T.V. - come on into the main lodge for conversation and games! We have worked extensively on remodeling and making improvements to each cabin.

Our Lodge

Enjoy three delicious meals every day in our central lodge.....Stone fireplace, comfortable furnishings, free wireless internet.  Guests also enjoy the lodge as a place to socialize and play games, look at pictures, read and relax. Soda, ice cream, snacks, and fishing tackle are available for purchase. Like it or not, you may even have to listen to John's jokes!

Our Rec Hall

Our large lakefront rec hall has pool, ping pong and foosball tables for guest use.  We have two dart boards and a large table for playing cards and games.

Our Meals

We pride ourselves on offering delicious home cooked meals. As an American Plan camp, meals are included in the daily rate. We have a set menu but are glad to make alternative items for anyone with a specific dietary need.  It is helpful for us to be aware of any dietary concerns you may have prior to your arrival or at check in. John is your breakfast chef extraordinaire!  For hearty appetites, he will make eggs to order, pancakes, french toast, bacon, and home fries.  On the lighter side, we offer oatmeal, fruit, and a variety of cold cereals.  We serve a sit down lunch every day (a bag lunch is available upon request).  Most days we offer homemade soup, such as black bean, turkey vegetable, curried lentil, and pesto tortellini.  Other lunch items include burgers, grilled hotdogs, chicken salad, ham, etc... Dinner entrees include salad, lobster, filet mignon, roasted turkey, broiled haddock, pork tenderloin, spaghetti bolognese, and haddock chowdah'.  Homemade desserts are served each day (diet later!)
